Senior Choir
The Senior Choir has a regular membership of about twenty singers, and provides music for the 11:00 a.m. service from September through mid-July.
In October 2008, the choir took part in an ecumenical choir concert, hosted by St. Patrick’s Church, Newcastle, which involved choirs from eight churches.
The Senior Choir, combined with the Junior and Youth Choirs, sang for the St. Andrew’s 125th Anniversary celebration service, an Evensong, and Advent Lessons and Carols.
Last year the Senior Choir welcomed new members Amy and Tom Shriver and Shaanhah McNealy. Shaanhah has the distinction of being the first to sing in all three of St. Andrew’s Choirs, having started as a Junior Chorister. Needless to say, Linda is tickled pink.
