Community Housing Improvement Project, Inc. (CHIP, Inc.) is a Maine 501(c)(3) organization that began in 1984 as an ecumenical effort to help area residents who do not have sufficient resources or the ability to make basic repairs to their homes. The mission of CHIP, Inc. is simply,
