The Property Committee of St Andrews cares for and maintains our structure and grounds. Our building, completed in 1883, includes an addition dedicated in 1988, and a Memorial Garden overlooking the scenic Damariscotta River. The committee is composed of six to eight members of the parish who meet monthly.

We address a wide variety of property issues ranging from minor leaks and regularly scheduled maintenance to replacing our heating system and removing dead trees from the church grounds.

Currently, we are involved in the renewal of the Memorial Garden, the repair and restoration of two altar-flanking stained-glass windows, the replacement of the windows in the 1988 addition, and in the establishment of an architectural master plan for the future of the property.

If you share our interest in antique buildings, our love of churches, our concern for the mid-coast region, and wish to learn more about the work we do, please contact the church office.
