The Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial well-being of St. Andrew’s Church and making recommendations to the Vestry on all financial matters. The Committee meets monthly and reviews financial reports prepared by the Treasurer. It also reviews the draft of the annual budget, provides input, and forwards it to the Vestry for action. Other duties include reviewing and recommending compensation levels for our employees, studying the annual audit and suggesting operational changes as a result, and overseeing church investments.
Over the past few years the main focus of the Committee has been to eliminate our persistent deficit. Late in 2020 the Committee made recommendations to the Vestry toward that end.
Parishioners interested in attending meetings or becoming a member of the Finance Committee should contact the Rector.
